Paul Contreras ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. We built StrictBlock with privacy as a foundational principle. Because StrictBlock uses Apple’s native Screen Time API (Managed Settings and Family Controls), all app blocking and scheduling happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to your browsing history, screen time data, or personal information.

Data We Collect

StrictBlock is designed to operate without collecting your personal data. Here is a summary of our data practices based on Apple’s App Privacy guidelines:

• Contact Information (Name, Email, Phone): Not collected.
• Identifiers (User ID, Device ID): Not collected.
• Usage Data & Diagnostics: Not collected.
• Location Data: Not collected.
• User Content (Photos, Text): Not collected.
• Purchases: Collected (Anonymous purchase history only). This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

How We Use Data

Because we do not collect personal information, usage data, or diagnostics, we do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or analytics. The only data processed is your anonymous purchase history, which is used strictly to unlock and verify StrictBlock Pro features.

Sharing Your Data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties because we do not collect it in the first place.

Third-Party Services

We use one third-party service solely to process and validate In-App Purchases:

RevenueCat

• Purpose: Managing and validating Apple In-App Purchases and subscriptions.
• Data Shared: Anonymous Apple App Store transaction receipts.
• Linked to You: No.
• Used for Tracking: No.

Note: All payments are processed entirely by Apple. We never receive or have access to your credit card information or Apple ID details.

Data Retention and Storage

All of your focus schedules, streaks, and blocked app preferences are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers to sync or store this data. If you delete the StrictBlock app, your local app data is immediately deleted from your device.

Security

Your data's security is guaranteed by the iOS operating system. By utilizing Apple's on-device Screen Time API, StrictBlock ensures that your app usage and browsing data never leave your iPhone.

Your Choices & Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can delete all StrictBlock data at any time simply by uninstalling the application from your iPhone. You can manage or cancel your StrictBlock Pro subscription at any time directly through your Apple ID Settings.

Children’s Privacy

StrictBlock is rated 4+ and is safe for use by children. Because we do not collect any personal information, contact details, or location data from any user, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. All Screen Time restrictions set within the app remain local to the device.

International Transfers

Because we do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on external servers, your data is not transferred internationally by us.

App Tracking Transparency

StrictBlock does not track you. We do not collect data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies, nor do we serve targeted advertisements.

Push Notifications

StrictBlock may use local device notifications to alert you when a focus session starts or ends. These notifications are scheduled locally on your iPhone. We do not use remote push notifications and do not collect push notification tokens.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our app or legal requirements. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
