Welcome to StrictBlock. By downloading, installing, or using the StrictBlock mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. License Agreement (EULA)

StrictBlock is licensed to you subject to your acceptance of Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA).

• Any custom terms outlined below supplement the Standard EULA. In the event of a conflict, these terms shall take precedence.

2. Service Description and Usage

StrictBlock provides system-level app and website blocking features using Apple's Screen Time API (Managed Settings and Family Controls).

• Local Enforcement: All configuration, focus schedules, streaks, and blocking policies are enforced locally on your device.
• Discipline Tool: StrictBlock is designed as a self-control tool. You acknowledge that when a session is active, the app will block access according to your settings and you may not be able to bypass the block until the timer ends.

3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

We offer premium features ("StrictBlock Pro") via auto-renewing subscriptions and one-time purchases through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.

• Billing: All transactions are processed and managed entirely by Apple. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to your Apple ID Settings. To avoid being charged for the next period, subscriptions must be canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled directly by Apple Support. We do not have the ability to process refunds.

4. Limitation of Liability

StrictBlock is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the continuous availability or error-free operation of the app. We are not liable for any productivity loss, data loss, missed notifications, or device locking resulting from your use of the app.

5. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page when changes are published. Your continued use of StrictBlock constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
